Affordable Counselling and Therapy
FEES
I offer a free initial 20m phone conversation. If you would then like to meet in person I offer an introductory session at a reduced rate of £10, although if we decide to continue to meet I charge the full fee. This is an opportunity for us to meet and talk about your reason for seeking counseling and to decide whether to work together.
For subsequent sessions, I operate a sliding scale of £65-75 For those with low or no income my rate is £35 for a fifty-minute session. If money is an obstacle then please do get in touch as I may have a space available that I reserve for people who find it difficult to pay the full amount.
WHERE AND WHEN
I work part-time in private practice and see clients on Mondays Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

I offer a warm, accepting and respectful space for you to begin to talk about the things that concern you. I am an integrative humanistic counsellor which means that my approach is underpinned by person centred values and philosophy, but I use skills from a number of different counselling models.
At our first session we can discuss what you are hoping to get out of counselling and discuss the different ways that we might work together. To read more about some of the counselling models I use look under the tab 'My approach'.
I am happy to work short or long term. However, I find that most people like to work in a time limited way, meaning that we have an idea of when we may end whilst being flexible. Some people like to plan sessions in blocks of six with a review in the sixth week.
